Spicy Red Fried Rice
This is an easy rice dish that turns out every time!
Spicy Red Fried Rice
2 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of basmati rice
1 3/4 cup of stock
2 tablespoon gochujang sauce
1 teaspoon of soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon of Tae-kyung Korean Red Chili Pepper Flakes Powder
1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
Melt butter in a sauce pan and then add the rice and then cook for 2 minutes, stirring to make sure the rice gets coated with the butter. Add remaining ingredients except the sesame oil and stir insuring the gochujang is dissolved. Bring to a boil, cover and then turn down to a simmer and let cook for 15 minutes. Pull off the heat and stir in the sesame oil. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Fluff the rice and serve.
